  • Budget for 2014-15

    Mahavir Mandir Trust passed a budget of Rupees One Hundred Forty seven crore.

    Mahavir Mandir Trust in its meeting held on 20th March, 2014 under the Chairmanship of Justice B. N. Agrawal passed a budget of Rupees one hundred and Forty seven crore for Mahavir temple, Viraat Ramayan Mandir, Mahavir Cancer Hospital, Mahavir Arogya Sansthan, Vaatsalya Hospital, Ramayan University and other institutions run by the Trust. The income of Mahavir Mandir Trust, Patna is the second highest in North India after Vaishno Devi Shrine. But no religious trust in North India is doing so much philanthropic work as this Mahavir Mandir Trust. The budget for each institution is as follows:-

    In addition, the Trust has decided to start a Cancer hospital in Mehmoorgang, area of Varanasi. It has been offered a hospital in good condition to run a Cancer hospital. This Cancer hospital will be an independent, separate hospital and not a branch of the current Mahavir Cancer hospital, Phulwari sariff, Patna, which is run by the Temple Trust. To the Cancer patients of the Patna hospital the Temple Trust  has provided One crore rupees for providing financial assistance to them.
    The Temple Trust is to get an income of Rupees ten and half crore from the following sources:-

    Mahavir Mandir Trust provided funds for the following institutions run by it:-

    Rama-janki Hanuman Mandir, Shekhpura, Patna

    Rama-janki Gaurishankar Mandir, Sahu pokhar, Muzaffarpur

    Vishalnath Mahadeo Mandir, Konahara Ghat, Hajipur

    Rama-janki Math, Ismailpur, Hajipur

    Institutions run by Mahavir Mandir Trusts are open to all persons, irrespective of caste and creed. It takes a special care of poor persons and poor patients. All those cancer patients whose annual income is within on lakh rupees per year, on applications, get an assistance of rupees Ten thousands. During the current financial years such assistance has crossed rupees one crore.
    The meeting was attended by Justice S.N. Jha(Retd.), Shri V.S. Dube, former Chief Secretary, Shri Ram Balak Mahto, Advocate General, Justice Rajedra Prasad (Retd.), Shri R.K. Shrivastava, I.A.S. (Retd.), Smt. Mahasveta Maharathi, Shri Kishore Kunal and Directors of all hospitals under it.
