TENDER NOTICE NO. VRM\/EST.\/05 DATED: 10-03-2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. INVITATION:-
Tenders are invited on behalf of Shri Mahavir Sthan Nyas Samiti, Patna for the proposed
construction of Viraat Ramayan Mandir. The work is estimated to cost Rs 173.75 Crores
( Inclusive of GST )<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. GENERAL INFORMATION:-
Shri Mahavir Sthan Nyas samiti has conceived a plan to construct one of the largest
temples to facilitate ample and comfortable space to common people for worshipping
deities. By good grace of God, this place is available in between AYODHYA and JANAKPUR at
village KAITHWALIA NEAR KESARIYA in the EAST CHAMPARAN district of Bihar. The National
Highway Authority of Govt. of India has also proposed to widen the existing road to four lane
highways along the proposed Viraat Ramayan Mandir site. It is located on the Ram Janaki
Path between Ayodhya and Janakpur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. FOR SPECIAL ATTENTION:-
Tenders hereunder are being invited in accordance with said Shri Mahavir Sthan Nyas
Samiti\u2019s bidding procedures.
The Eligibity of the tenderer is to have completed at least one similar work of Rs. 25
Crores. Similar work means construction of minimum 30 meter tall building in RCC with pile
foundation.
All tenderers are cautioned that Tenders containing any deviation from the contractual<\/p>\n\n\n\n

terms and conditions, specifications, or other requirements will be rejected as NON-
RESPONSIVE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Award is to be made to the Tenderer whose Responsive Tender is determined to be the
lowest evaluated tender and who meets the appropriate standards of capability and financial
resources.
All tenderers are urged to promptly submit a written request on matters where
clarifications or additional information is desired before 29TH March 2023.
Alternative Tenders are not acceptable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. PURCHASE OF DOCUMENTS:-
i) The Tender documents will be made available to sale from 17th March to 4th April,
2023 at the office of Viraat Ramayan Mandir, Camp \u2013 MAHAVIR VAATSALYA
ASPATAL, LCT GHAT, PATNA 800001, ON PAYMENT OF Rs. 5,000\/- by Bank Draft in
favour of VIRAAT RAMAYAN MANDIR, payable at State Bank of India, Main Branch,
Patna for each set.
ii) The Tender document can also be obtained by transfer of Rs. 5,000\/- to the State
Bank of India, Main Branch, Patna, Account No. 40948790876 (IFSC Code
SBIN0000152) of Viraat Ramayan Mandir. A receipt showing confirmation of
payment be sent to the email ID of Viraat Ramayan Mandir \u2013 vrmbihar@gmail.com,
viraatramayantemple@gmail.com. Thereafter, a PDF copy of tender document will be
sent to the tenderer.
iii) The cost of the tender documents will not be refunded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:-
The proposed temple shall be of R.C.C. structure with combination of Pile and Raft
foundation; having 12 (Twelve) numbers of SHIKHAR (DOME), maximum height 270 ft, length
1000 ft and width 540 ft with expected life span of 250 years.
The necessary approvals of Plan & Drawings as well as Environment department have
been obtained from the appropriate Govt. Departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. STATUS OF THE PROJECT:-
Viraat Ramayan Mandir Nirman Samiti has completed the work to construct an office
cum rest house as well as boundary wall at Mandir site.
Electrical power supply of 11 KVA Shall be made available at site of work. The R.O. water
plant and tube well shall be arranged & managed by contractor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. SCOPE OF WORK UNDER THIS TENDER:-
This consists of RCC structure by RMC (Ready Mix Concrete) along with reinforcement in<\/p>\n\n\n\n

an estimated cost of Rs. 173.75 Crores. The mix design for the concrete shall be of M-50\/ M-
30 grade with Fe-500D & R.O. water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. PERIOD OF COMPLETION:-
The period of completion 30 (thirty) months from the date of Notice to proceed with the
work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT:-
No Earnest money is to be deposited along with tender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. LANGUAGE OF TENDER:-
Tenders shall be submitted in the prescribed form in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11. SECURITY DEPOSIT:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no security deposit for the execution of agreement. However 5% of the amount
of running bills is to be kept back for the defect liability period ( 36 months from the date
of completion )<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12. TENDER VALIDITY PERIOD:-
The tender shall be valid for a period of not less than ninety days after the date of
opening of tenders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

13. SUBMISSION OF TENDERS:-
The last date of submission of tender is 3.00 pm on 5th April 2023 at Mahavir Vatsalya
Aspatal (3rd floor), LCT ghat, Patna \u2013 800 001. Tender shall contain two sealed envelopes
superscribed (a) Technical bid (b) Financial bid. Both the envelopes of technical bid and
financial bid will be kept in bigger envelope sealed and superscribed \u201cTender for construction
of proposed Viraat Ramayan Mandir\u201d
Tenders received late on account of any reason whatsoever will not be entertained.
Tenders sent electronically\/post\/courier shall not be accepted.
Tender shall be received by the Temple Superintendent or person authorized by him at
Mahavir Vatsalya Aspatal (3rd floor), LCT ghat, Patna \u2013 800 001.
Tender shall be kept\/dropped in a sealed box in the office of Temple Superintendent or his
authorized person at Mahavir Vatsalya Aspatal (3rd floor), LCT ghat, Patna \u2013 800 001.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

14. OPENING OF TENDERS:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Technical bid of the tender will be opened by the Chartered Accountant , Engineer-in-
charge, Project Manager & Architect of Nirman Samiti at Conference hall of Mahavir Vatsalya<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aspatal, LCT Ghat, Patna at 4.00 PM on 5th April 2023 in presence of representatives of tenderers who choose to be present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

15. CONTRACT AWARD:-
The award of contract will normally be made within 90 (ninety) days after the date of
opening of tenders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

16. Temple Superintendent reserves the right to cancel the tender so opened without assigning
any reason thereof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
