It is humbly informed that from 2015 to February, 2023 Naivedaym Division of Mahavir Mandir, Patna has requested Sudha Dairy authorities on several occasions to supply pure cow ghee for Naivedyam but every time they have shown their inability to supply pure cow ghee in such a bulk quantity. The last request made on 22^nd February, 2023 to Sudha authorities is placed here.

They did not have even the courtesy to reply. Then the Naivedyam representatives met the Sudha authorities and requested them to supply the ghee in an estimated quantity of 15,000 to 20,000 kg. per month. But they clearly told that they were not in a position to supply the pure cow ghee in such quantity. This is the reason that Mahavir Mandir Trust did not use Sudha ghee in Naivedyam preparation.

The main consideration for opting Nandini ghee was that Karnataka Milk Federation takes only cow milk and makes all preparations from cow milk only. Their rate was also far lower. They provide cow ghee here at the rate of Rs. 590/- per k.g. after transporting it from Bangalore to this place.

Now, Sudha Dairy has offered to supply pure cow ghee. They are welcome. They have been requested to supply 100 kg. of cow ghee immediately. Naivedyam will be made with Sudha ghee also and opinion of devotees will be taken on quality of laddoos. thereafter the bulk order will be placed. Our request will be that they should certify like Nandini, that the ghee supplied is pure cow ghee and they should give competitive price with Nandini and there should be a long-term agreement for the supply of the required ghee. Then we will happily take ghee from them.

Sudha Milk and other products have been used in large quantities in the temple since the beginning. Today Naivedyam representatives went to the Sudha Dairy office and met their top officers. They assured that they are going to install a separate plant for cow ghee and would be in a position to provide cow ghee in bulk quantify in two months.
